We arrived in Rome tired and excited. The plane ride was better than expected. I watched a movie (The Tourist) and read and played games. The seats after our first leg were the smallest I had ever experienced. No leg room at all. We grabbed a cab and arrived at our motel. The traffic in Rome is insane. The first thing we did was walk to the Fountain of Four Rivers. It was impressive.
Our luggage was open and we spent almost an hour trying to get Dad's binoculars and camera back, my make-up, shampoo etc. was gone forever. Oh well! Some of us walked to the Pantheon. It has an open dome and was once a place of worship for the gods but was later changed to a Christian worship site. We have lots of beautiful pictures to bore you with .
